A messuage and lands at Handley:
Lease and release by Job Denham of Heath butcher to Thomas Milward of Handley farmer and John Clayton of Pilsley yeoman (trustee) of a messuage at Handley, and the Backside Close, the Holywell Close, the Near Over Close, the Far Over Close, containing in all 11 acres 1 rood 29 perches. Recital of mortgage in fee by lease and release (20/21 February 1818) by Richard Haslam of Ketlington (county Nottingham) miller to Job Denham in consideration of sum of £800; and death of Richard Haslam intestate, his heir being his sister, Sarah Milward of Handley, and death of Sarah intestate, her heir being Thomas Milward, her son. Consideration £865 paid by Milward to Denham. Dated 14/15 March
