Land at Handley:
Attested copy of lease and release by James Hawksley of Handley in the parish of North Wingfield yeoman to James, his second son, of two undivided third-parts of a messuage in Handley in the manor of Stretton, and of the Hollily Close (one acre) lately fenced out of the Hollily Grounds, the Backside Close (3 acres), and the two Over Closes (8 acres); and of one undivided third-part of the Near Springs (6 acres), the Hall Close (5 acres), the Three Horse Carrs (20 acres), the New Close (9 acres), the Rough Nook (5 acres), the Three Broadfields (20 acres), and the Pitthills (8 acres), and all that share of the manor or royalty of Stretton as James Hawkesley the father is entitled to (saving out of the grant and release, one undivided third-part of one acre of the Near Springs adjoining to a close called the Wett Meadow.
