The South Fields at Handley and other property:
Deed to declare the uses of a fine levied by Thomas Clay of Hardstoft yeoman and Rebecca his wife to Thomas Challenor of Brimington gent. and John Rooth of Stretton yeoman of two messuages, two cottages, three barns, three stables, three gardens, two orchards, 30 acres land, 10 acres meadow, 30 acres pasture, and one third-part of 10 acres land, 5 acres meadow, and 10 acres pasture, and also of common of pasture in Sload Lane, Stretton and Handley in the parishes of Eckington and North Wingfield, and reciting the terms of T774, whereby it is declared that the third-part of the premises stand seised to the use of Thomas Clay junior of Higham yeoman. Dated 26 October
