Release by William duke of Devonshire, Sir Windsor Hunloke of Wingerworth Bart., Joseph Allwood of Heath yeoman, Joseph Allwood of Williamthorp in the parish of North Wingfield yeoman (son and heir of Joseph), Richard Milnes of Chesterfield, Edmund Hodgkinson senior of Ashover, Henry Rawling of Sutton in the Dale, John Jepson, William Atkinson, James Hall, and John Clay of Heath, William Sowter of Tansley, Rebecca Snodding of Bolsover, George Barker of Baslow, and William Coope of Hardwick, all creditors' of the Allwoods, to Peter Walker of Ford and Thomas Milward of Handley yeomen, reciting debts of the Allwoods of £128 to the duke of Devonshire for a farm in Heath, and £40 rent for a coal mine there; and debt of £164 9s 6d rent to Sir Windsor Hunloke for a farm at Williamthorp; and other, unspecified debts; and reciting lease and release of 24/25 October 1744 of lands in Wessington to Walker and Milward in trust to sell the same and to discharge a mortgage of £1000 with interest to William Bilbie esq., and reciting the assignment of Allwood's leases to Walker and Milward in trust to dispose of the same; and reciting the performance of the trusts, the payment of mortgage, and of the debts; whereby the duke of Devonshire and Sir Windsor Hunloke release and quitclaim to Walker and Milward all manner of claims.
