Feoffment by bargain and sale by Thomas Gladwin of Boythorpe in the parish of Chesterfield gent. and John Newton of Oakerthorpe in the parish of South Wingfield gent. to Thomas Beighton of Handley in the parish of North Wingfield yeoman of a third-part of a messuage and garden in Handley in which Thomas Beighton now lives, and a third-part of the Croft at the House, the Backside Close, the Over Close, the Calfe Close, and the Intake. Recital of release and enfeoffment by the Hon. Henry Howard esq., second son of Henry late earl of Arundel and Surrey (8 February 1658/1659) to Gladwin and Newton of one third-part of the manor and lordship of Stretton in consideration of £3040. Consideration paid by Beighton, £31 13s 4d. Dated 10 December
