Mortgage by demise for term of 1000 years by John Stevenson of Woolley Mill in the parish of North Wingfield miller (eldest son of Enoch Stevenson) to Thomas Johnson of Hurdlow in the parish of Hartington farmer of a messuage at Brackenfield, the Pasture, the Calf Close, the Little Close, the Over Close, and Kirchief, containing in all 12 acres formerly all one close called the Chappell Moor Piece, and one other close called Scaldwell (one acre). Consideration £250. Dated 13 March
