Title
Deed of partition and exchange made between Thomas Osgathorp of Skegaley near Higham yeoman and William Turbutt of Ogston Hall esq. whereby Osgathorp conveys to Turbutt a part of the Long Close in Wessington, and two undivided third-parts of one moiety of, and one fourth-part of one moiety of a messuage and appurtenances, and of the Upper or Over Amber Close (2 acres 3 roods 6 perches), the Tong or Tang Close (3 acres 1 rood 18 perches), and the Croft (1 acre 2 roods 31 perches), lying in the liberty of Brackenfield and in the liberty of Wessington, together with the right of a road over the tops of certain closes in Brackenfield and Wessington called the Amber Close or Meadow, and the Middle Meadow; and Turbutt conveys to Osgathorp one moiety of the close called the Shoulder of Mutton or Skegaley Close (3 acres 38 perches), the Hollow Close (1 acre 3 roods 37 perches), and the Mean Close (4 acres 2 roods 18 perches), all of which lie in the liberties of Brackenfield and Wessington.
