Feoffment by Thomas Towndrow of Higham yeoman to William Hoyland of Wessington publican, reciting mortgage in £1300 by demise for term of 500 years (12 April 1794) by Towndrow and Ann Brown of the parish of Staveley spinster to William Fletcher; and lease and release of 14/16 January 1804 conveying premises to Joseph Wilson of Alfreton gent. in trust; and appointment for residue of term; 25 October 1806, to William Fletcher of Morton yeoman; and contract for sale by Towndrow to Hoyland, of the Flowery Meadow (1 acre 2 roods 6 perches) in Brackenfield. Consideration £100 paid to Fletcher. Assignment of residue of term by Fletcher to Rev. Thomas Webster of Alfreton clerk in trust for Hoyland and to attend the inheritance. Dated 25 October
