Attested copies of lease and release by John Clay of Nottingham gent. and Robert Musters of Nottingham esq. to Edward Wilmot of Jermyn Street in the parish of St James (co. Middlesex.) doctor, of a capital messuage called Road Nook House and the farm belonging to it (tenant John Bradley, rent £72 10s), and of various other messuages and farms, including the Wood Piece, Little Close, the wood called Lindoway Spring (9 acres) all which premises lie in the parishes of Crich, Norton and Ashover, and at Wessington, Roadnook, Brackenfield and Wheatcroft; and of a moiety of the manor of Lea and Holloway

a] Mortgage by lease and release by Musters to Clay in £200, 5/6 June 1747
b] Further charge in £100, 1 September 1747
c] Agreement of 15 September 1747 reciting mortgage by Musters to Samuel Smith of London goldsmith, Abel Smith senior, George Smith, and Abel Smith junior of Nottingham bankers and partners in £1200; and reciting liability in £3000 of Musters' estate to the Crown and reciting charge on the estate of an annuity of £50 to Hannah Peter of London spinster aunt of Robert Musters, and annual rents of 90s payable to the corporation of Chesterfield for ever, and 6½d to the lord or lords of the manor of Crich.
d] Agreement for sale to Wilmot in £5360 which sum is to include discharge of the sums of £200 and £100, £1200 and £3000.
