Feoffment by bargain and sale, and copy, by James Wright of Shirland gent., John Newton of Oakerthorpe in the parish of South Wingfield gent., and Edward Parkes of Higham gent., reciting the enfranchisement by Henry Howard, second son of the earl of Arundel, of his one third share of the manor of Shirland, to William Stocks of Higham yeoman, of one third-part of a close called North Flatt (5 acres), Under North Flatt (7 acres), Long Edge Close (7 acres), the Upper and Nether Gaslands (7 acres), and of 12 acres lately enclosed within Shadewell Plott in Shirland Park.
