| Administrative History | On 9 November 1955, an informal meeting was held to propose the establishment of a Local History Section and the first meeting of the section was held on 21 January 1956 at Bridge Chapel House, Derby (then the Society's headquarters).
From it's inauguration, the section published a local history bulletin entitled 'Derbyshire Miscellany', initially published quarterly, and ultimately twice a year. |
