I wish you would procure me “The trial of Ch Angus for the murder of Miss Burns Liverpool 8vo. - of Michael Whiting for poisonoing - of Miss Butterfield for poisoning Mr Scawen 1775 - of Allen for the murder of Dulany 8vo - of Donellan for the murder of Sir Th. Broughton. - of Motherills Trial for a rape.
I have the state Trials, Select Trials, for murders from 1733 to 1741 4 vols 12mo – Trials for Adultery 2 vol. 12mo. 1780 – annals of Gallantry 3 0 8vo 1815. I will thank you to look into different catalogues for trials for murders & & [sic] send me a few volumes, or if you meet with any sales, to purchase some.
