Inscription reads: 'These shutters were plated November 25th 1823 by T Wagstaff, Tinman, and Joe Lee, Joiner, wrote by and in the presence of M Burgoine Tinker and Tom Harrison Tinker fine Strutt doings at this time of day, we know not what you are at when this you may see'.
