Custodial History | These records were deposited with Derbyshire Record Office by the firm in January 1966. According to an article on 'The Early Days of the Derbyshire Record Office' by Joan Ferguson (nee Sinar), the first County Archivist, the deposit was the result of an enquiry from a young boy from Wirksworth who was intrigued by the shop's fascia board which led Miss Sinar to contact the firm about their records. |
