Description
Between (1) John Bowmer of Wirksworth, husbandman and Elizabeth his wife, one of the two daughters and heirs of William Aspinall, and (2) Anthony Hurt, gentleman, for all that messuage, dwelling house and tenement and the chamber or rooms built over the Gate adjoining the dwelling house distinguished by the sign of the Red Lion, with bakehouse, barn, stable, stables, orchard, garden, then in possession of Job Hall, also with premises being purchased from Sir Philip Gell, bart, and purchased from him byWilliam Aspinall, now deceased, who devised the same on the death of his wife to his two daughter Elizabeth Bowmer and Mary, now wife of Joseph Lees, to be equally divided, held by Sir Philip Hurt of the Holland Manor in Wirksworth.
