DescriptionBetween (1) Joseph Lees of Wirksworth, husbandman and Mary his wife, one of the two daughters and only children of William Aspinall, and (2) Job Hall of Wirksworth, baker of an undivided moiety of that dwelling house and the Chamber over the Gate of the said house which Job Hall did inhabit, all that bakehouse & 2 stables & garden of them lying and being on the north side which said dwelling house & premises doth lie between the dwelling house or Inn commonly known by the sign of Red Lion on the west and of James Shalcrosse on the east, were previously purchased by William Aspinall from Sir Philip Gel, reciting bequest in the will of William Aspinall 4 June 1717 to his 2 daughters Elizabeth, then wife of John Bowmer, and Mary Lees also called Mary Aspinall, held equally between them. Joseph Lees makes his mark and Mary Lees her mark. On reverse, sealed in the presence of John Salt, J. Odingsells Leeke.
