Description	Prince Edward Island is no primeval paradise but a garden over-grown with weeds inhabited by a most complete idle collection of all Nations. He left Halifax [Nova Scotia] on Sunday 23 and landed at Boston on Sunday 30 July. He is impressed. Here as in England, business is overdone. Manchester houses have manufactured enough to serve the world for 4 or 5 years. He has frequently visited George Barker from Darley Dale who is engaged in lucrative business and has 2 pretty children and a wife. He has no positive plans.
