H J Longsdon at Trinity College, Cambridge to Aunt - disappointed not to see her this Xmas as half indulged hope of visiting Knipton, should have tried to had she been there. Visited Mr Lace at Ingthorpe [Ingmanthorpe] - wanted to tell her in person, am engaged to be married; to Mr Lace's eldest daughter. He was a great friend of writer's mothers. |
