She has written to John Allen asking him to come, but he is away. She and her husband are going to Bakewell fishing, but it is too much to hope that James will meet them there. She gives news of the wedding of Mr Thornhill and Fanny Gould, and asks if it is true that Miss M Needham is going to be married. Mr Gell is well and it would give him great pleasure to meet James this week or next week at Bakewell. |
