At the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King of his Borough of Derby in the County of Derby held at the Borough of Derby . The Information of Dorothy Ford the wife of Daniel Ford of the said Borough of Derby Tayler taken upon her Oath this twenty first day of Novenber 1758 before me Samuel Crompton Esquire Mayor and one of his Majesties Justices of the Peace of and for the said Borough
This Informant Saith than on the day of this instant November she had taken or stolen out of the Garden on Backside belonging to Anthony Clough in the Parish of Saint Werburgh in the said Borough one Quilted Petticoat, one white apron, one white Scotch Cloth Handkerchief, and one Black Shalloon Gown which she had hung in the said Garden on Backside to dry, and that she suspects the same to be stoln [sic] by some person or persons within the said Borough
