| Administrative History | Records of the dissenting church at Marple Bridge originally at Mill Brow where the first chapel was built in 1715 near the barn at Pear Tree Farm where earlier meetings had been held. In 1787 the chapel moved to Town Street, Marple Bridge and then in 1887 to a new chapel in Hollins Lane. |
