Administrative History | Hatton School opened in January 1879. By 1882 a separate Infants Department were needed. In September 1957 it became a secondary modern school, with the newly-built Heathfield County Primary School taking infant and junior school children. Hatton School became a comprehensive school in September 1974 and a community school in 1985. It closed in July 1990. |
