DescriptionInformation from a previous descriptive register has been copied into this register, with staff appointments dating back to at least 1909.

The register contains the following information:
Personal information: name, date appointed, act governing pernsion, age and date of birth, height, complexion, eyes, hair, distinctive marks, native of township and county, trade or occupation, arried or single and number of children, religion, address, name and address of nearest relatives, spouse name, address, date and place of marriage, previous service in HM Forces or other police force, remarks.
Career record: qualifying exams for promotion, decorations etc., miscellaneous qualifications, awards for first aid knowledge etc., advancements, promotions etc., reductions, commendations, misconduct.
Overleaf: transfers, removal and cause, medical history, injuries received on duty.
