| Administrative History | Until the late 1970s, there was a Coroner's Office for the time being Borough of Derby and another for the County Borough of Derby.
In July 2013, there was a change in coroner regulations. Previously files always started with ther number 1. Following this date they were filed using in computer-generated case number. As a result, from 2014 Inquests and Post Mortems were filed together, with no seperation in the types of cases recorded., unlike prior to the change. |
