| Administrative History | The parish of Mickleover St John was created from the parish of Mickleover All Saints in 1962 during a period of rapid expansion in house building in the area. The parish includes the Silverhill, Inglewood and Rough Heanor estates. A new church was built as the Bishop Rawlinson Memorial Church in 1963. |
