TitleCertificate signed by minister and churchwardens of Darley that "a house in Toadhole .... in Darley, which was formerly in the tenure of one Anthony Steere, but hath for several years last past stood empty without any inhabitant and been much decayed, part of the said house is now pulled down by Edward Sorsby, the present owner thereof;
and there is no fire hearth or chimney in the said house now remaining".
