Administrator, Kalomo, to British South Africa Company: enclosed report by Major Jn. Carden of the Barotse Native Police of his patrol to punish the Makwengari tribe living to the west of the provisional boundary of Barotseland in Nov 1902, and short letter from Administrator Northern Western Rhodesia to High Commissioner, Johannesburg, justifying the mission as showing that the land around the Cutii river is certainly not under Portuguese occupation.
