TitleScottish Sharpshooters' Association: correspondence between Col. T.A. Hill and the Civil Commnr., Victoria, re possible terms of grant of land to the S.S.A. Also memorandum of objects of the S.S.A. and minutes of three meetings in Sep 1900. [ S.S.A. was formed by Col. Hill as a co-operative venture in colonisation, first of Southern Rhodesia then of the Orange River Colony, from the personnel of his unit in the Rhodesian Field Force. P.L.G.'s connection with the S.S.A. was that of a semi-formal sponsor. He was introduced to Hill by Milner (who also backed the scheme and continued his connection even after the S.S.A. had ceased to contemplate settling in the British South Africa Company's territories.]
