Hill as a co-operative venture in colonisation, first of Southern Rhodesia then of the Orange River Colony, from the personnel of his unit in the Rhodesian Field Force. P.L.G.'s connection with the S.S.A. was that of a semi-formal sponsor. He was introduced to Hill by Milner (who also backed the scheme and continued his connection even after the S.S.A. had ceased to contemplate settling in the British South Africa Company's territories.] |
