Title
O. Beit, Welwyn, to P.L.G. : detailed answer to Gell's 1tr.;
against election of outsider strong or weak;
if choice is between Jameson and Maguire then each should promise to stay on for one year if the other is elected;
thinks Maguire's business abilities have been underrated;
the only other possibilities are Erlanger, who is so new as to be considered an outsider, and Winchester, whom he [B.] prefers, but whom Maguire looks at in the same light as he does Jameson.
