All the material in this box relates to Mrs. Edith Lyttelton Gell whilst she was living in Oxfordshire. Both Mr. and Mrs. Lyttelton Gell were heavily involved in the Central Church committee and the Oxford Diocesan Church committee during their time in the county. Edith Lyttelton Gell was also involved in the fight against the disestablishment of the Church of England in Wales.
