DescriptionAssignment by George Atkin and John Wilson of Wadsley p Ecclesfield, sawmakers, shearsmiths and co-partners, to Arnold Wilde of Wadsley and Joseph Ridge of Sheffield, both saw makers: reciting grants of patents to Wilde for plane irons, scythes, drawing knives and edge tools in cast steel 1795; to Wilde and Ridge for 14 years for new method of manufacturing saws, steel doctors for printers plates made of iron, also of steel beads, mouldings, fender plates made of steel and iron united, or of iron or steel, steel springs and other iron and steel articles, 1795; and also reciting assignment of patents to Atkin and Wilson, mortgaged back to Wilde and Ridge as security for £2,500; now assigning patents, stock-in-trade, and property and paper of co-partnership, together with equity of redemption to Wilde and Ridge
