Beginning 1 May 1711.
[When the partners sign the accounts, John Mottram may designate himself John Mottram Junior.]
Gives "scores" of coal "gotten" value, expenses, profit, names and banksmen and pits.
The pits may have been in the New Mills area as they include pits called New Miln, Beard Moor and Top of Beard Moor. Others named were Burn' Edge, Acre Nook, Deep Gaskill, Edward Bennett's Acre Piece, Engine, Dirthole, Little Pit, ith Hare holes Lane, Little Pit Acre Piece, Collier's, Top (p) oth' moor , New Dirt Hole.
