This entry was previously indicated that the land was known as 'Savoy Closes' when in fact the document reads 'Saucy Closes'. Amended 12/05/2022, BS.
- According to Cameron's 'Place Names of Derbyshire' (published 1959), Saucy Hill Croft in Markeaton - rather than Mackworth, is also recorded as Sawsie Hill Close, 1630, and Sawcy Hill, 1682
