There are several groups of apparently unrelated papers in this collection. In addition to deeds and leases relating to Middleton by Wirksworth and Wirksworth, 16th-18th cent., there are papers on Wirksworth and Eckington charities, notes and cuttings on rifle shooting, the probate of a Crimean War survivor, Harrison family press cuttings, and a nominal roll of the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire regiment, temp World War I
