Description
Dec 1821-Jan 1828, May 1831. Fitzroy's letters mainly addressed from the Ordnance Office (where he was secretary to the Duke of Wellington). Early letters relate to the defence of Lord Charles in Parliament c1822 on Cape affairs, and the aftermath of this.
