Title	Extent and terrier of the hamlet of Tunstall (Dunstall, part of manor of Barton) - survey, rents paid by freehold tenants, rents and services paid and performed by copyhold tenants, customary book for the payment of tithes Described on cover as "The Coucher Book for the manor of Barton-under-Needwood from the original in the Duchy office" "NB William Humberston and John Harwar surveyed the Honour of Tutbury in June 1558 - the within book is their survey of the manor of Barton and was transcribed from the original for the use of Edward Stanhope who surveyed the said manor in 1587" [It would appear that there was an original survey by Humberston in 1558 - of which these may be copies - superseded or just copied by Stanhope or his agent in 1587]
