| Title | Marriage settlement on the marriage of Anthony Hutton and Elizabeth Burdett sister of Thomas Burdett, by which William Hutton of Penrith, Cumberland, kt, Lady Dorothy his wife and Anthony Hutton son of William of Grays Inn, have agreed with Sir George Curzon of Croxall, Derby, kt, Thomas Burdett of Bramcotte, Warwicks, Esq, Christopher Horton of Catton, Derbys, Esq, and John Barwell of Warwicks, clerk, in consideration of the marriage and £500, to suffer a common recovery of a capital messuage of said William in Penrith, all the other messuages of William in Penrith, Melmerby, Gayle, Owsbye, Thorneheade, Johnby and Carlisle - to the use of Elizabeth and Anthony for life in lieu of dower, then to the use of the heirs male of Elizabeth by Anthony, in default to the other sons of William Hutton and their male issue.
