Title
Marriage settlement between Richard Dixon of Goldsmyth Grange, Leics, gent, Edward Dudley of Cloxton, Northants, Esq, and William Dixon, son and heir apparent of William Dixon of Desforde, Leics, gent, natural brother of Richard Dixon, by which, in consideration of the marriage between William Dixon and Anne Dudley daughter of Edward Dudley and £200, Dixon agrees that Edward Dudley and William Dixon shall stand seised of all his manor of Rowlston, Leics, and a moiety of the rectory and parsonage of Rowlston with all rights, to various uses: manor and messuage, cottage etc to the use of William Dixon and after his death or the second marriage of Anne his wife to the use of the heirs of the body of William Dixon, in default to the use of the right heirs of William Dixon: the moiety of the rectory and parsonage house and several other closes previously excepted to the use of Richard Dixon for life, then to the use of William Dixon and the heirs of his body and in default to the use of the right heirs of William Dixon.
