TitleMarriage settlement by which in consideration of the marriage between Sir Euseby Pelsant and Anne Boswell of Clipston, Northants, and for the provision of Anne's jointure in lieu of dower, Sir Euseby Pelsant of Liddington, Rutland, kt, and Robert Pelsant of Grays Inn, his brother, have released to Richard Kinsman of Broughton, Northants, esq, George and John Boswell of Clipston, Anne's brothers, all that messuage or tenement with courts, yards, orchards, gardens and closes, lands etc in Cadeby, Leics, contained in an indenture of 7 May 10 Charles I [1634], and all and singular the other messuages of Sir Euseby Pelsant in Cadeby; and two closes or parcels of pasture ground in Market Bosworth, Naveby and Newbold Verdon, Leics, called Sparkenhoe Fields and a rickyard containing 60 acres, conveyed by John Crewe to Robert Pelsant on 25 January 1649; also another close in Market Bosworth conveyed to Robert Pelsant by Henry Turvile on 10 October 1613, and the prebend of Liddington, Rutland, conveyed by Sir John Woolaston to Robert Pelsant; to the use of Sir Euseby Pelsant until the marriage, then to the use of Sir Euseby for 99 years; then the lands in Cadeby, Market Bosworth and lands in Kent, and part of the Liddington property to the use of Anne Boswell for life for her jointure: residue of premises after determination of 99 year term to the use of trustees to support the contingent uses, ie to the use of the successive male issue of the marriage.
