a) Gift by William Moore of Winsthorpe, Lincs, gent, to Edward Clerke of Willoughby, Warwicks, yeoman, of all that messuage or tenement in Brannston, Northants, now or late in the tenure of Thomas Woodnot, and all that virgate of land in Brannston, a close lying in Falcliff, Brannston, a close called Rages Close in Brannston and a messuage cottage or tenement called Well Close in Welton, Northants. Dated 9 April 40 Elizabeth [1598]
b) Feoffment by Samuel Clerke of Kingesthorpe Northants, Doctor of Divinity, to George Buswell of Derby, yeoman, in consideration of £250, of all that messuage or tenement in Brannston, close in Falcliff, Brannston and a close called Rages Close, and a yardland of arable, meadow and pasture in Brannston.
