Dated 9 April 40 Elizabeth [1598] b) Feoffment by Samuel Clerke of Kingesthorpe Northants, Doctor of Divinity, to George Buswell of Derby, yeoman, in consideration of £250, of all that messuage or tenement in Brannston, close in Falcliff, Brannston and a close called Rages Close, and a yardland of arable, meadow and pasture in Brannston.
