Assignment of mortgage by way of lease by Richard Lowth of Uppingham, Rutland, gent, at the request of Edward Baxter of Clipston, yeoman, and Anne his wife, to Christopher Bainbrig of Clipston, clerk, [reciting lease for 99 years of 23 May 33 Charles II (1681) by Edward Baxter and Anne his wife to Magdalene Clipsham late of Uppingham, widow, of several parcels of arable land, meadow and pasture lying dispersedly in the common fields of Newbold - 3/4 yardland - purchased by Edward Baxter of John Hackney and Edward Bond; withproviso that if Baxter paid to Magdelene Clipsham £100, the lease null and void: £100 not paid and estate passed to Richard Lowth as executor of Magdalene Clipsham], of all the estate of Magdalene Clipsham in the 3/4 yardland for the residue of the 99 year term.
