Title
Gift in tail by Nicholas Cowper, Rector of the parish church of Sekyndon and William Dawe, Rector of the parish church of Thorpe Constantyne, to Robert Sekyndon and Elizabeth his wife of all his lands and tenements with pastures etc in Cotton iuxta Rosliston, Derbys, which he held by gift of the said Robert; to be held by the said Robert and Elizabeth for life, after their decease the remainder to Beatrice their daughter for life, with remainder successively in tail male to their other children namely John, Gerard, Lawrence, William, Ellen, Margaret, Isabel and Agnes; in default of issue remainder to the right heirs of Robert Sekyndon. Dated Monday next before the feast of the Purification BVM 21 Henry VI [28 Jan 1443]
