Langley Infants and Nursery School, Heanor
Administrative History
Langley Public Elementary School for Girls and Infants (also known as Langley Mixed School) was established in 1871. When it was enlarged in 1893, separate departments were set up for girls and infants. The two departments were brought together again in 1939. The school became an infants and nursery school in about 1962.
Custodial History
The records were transferred by various Headteachers in 1987, 1993 and 2001.
