Society of Bakewell Snugs
Administrative History
This society, established in 1809, consisted of a group of Bakewell gentlemen who met on a weekly basis during the winter months to smoke their pipes and hold discussions at the Rutland Arms, Bakewell.
Custodial History
The items came to the Record Office via the Bedfordshire Record Office in Jun 1987.
