Administrative History
The Charity Commission Report (1827) refers to gifts of land to provide income to support education in the parish from at least the eighteenth century. The Charity was responsible, under a revised scheme, for the parish school, rebuilt in 1856. The Trust now has a general educational remit.
Custodial History
The records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office by a trustee at various times beginning in October 1986.
