Administrative History | This school was built in 1876, around the same time as the mission church in Harpur Hill. Both were originally funded and supported by the Old Buxton Lime Company. The School was transferred to the Hartington and Burbage District School Board, by which it was run until 1903, when it became one of the Buxton Council schools. The school is now housed in newer premises, with its former buildings an annexe to the High Peak College. |
Custodial History | These records were transferred to the Record Office at various dates from July 1986. |
