Copy of request by William Arnold of the Diary Office for leave to lend a Diary to Mr Luke Needham being ordered to officiate in Norwich 1st District Norwich Collection, 17 Feb 1770. Copy of certificate by Minister and churchwardens of St Mildred the Virgin in thePoultry in City of London that Luke Needham took sacrament on 7 Oct 1770. Copy bond in ,1,000 to HM George III by Luke Needham of the Excise Office, London, gent, Richard Smith and Thomas Howland both of Thame Oxon gent, 13 Mar 1770, with instructions for T Rumsey at Excise Office, London to Needham to execute in presence of two of Needham's officers and return to Ramsey 23 Jun 1770, and note of execution on 25 Jun in presence of Robert Kente and Edward Younge, returned from Norwich with the vouchers to save postage, 2 Jul 1770. Claim for £3 4s travelling expenses to and from Norwich on return to Excise Office from Norwich 2nd District, 8 Aug 1770. Request for 7 days leave of absence to start 4st inst, 1 Sep 1770, having been appointed Superintendent Burford District Marlborough Collection for a place. He set out from Oxford on 22 Jun last. Needham asks for salary due from 5 Apr to that day and travelling expenses for Oxford to Burford 20 miles. 6 Aug 1771. Endorsed Ordered and allowed for 1 day Salary at ,60 yearly from 6 Apr to 23 Jun inclusive amounts to £13 0 5, signed T Rumsey with Needham's note on minuting of order and payment by Mr Hennill
