Reciting part of a lease and release dated 9 and 10 Oct 1821 by which properties in the schedule of this deed (of 1827) were charged with certain annuities and that Sir Henry has since married Elizabeth Soar
Witnessing that Sir Henry appointed to Dame Elizabeth in case she should survive him, an annuity of £400 chargeable on the premises in the schedule included, to be payable to her after her husband's death for her life for a jointure and in bar of dower which Dame Elizabeth might be entitled to in properties of Sir Henry
The schedule is very detailed and includes the manor of Egginton, advowson of Egginton church, Egginton Hall, lands, cottages and messuages giving acreages, field names and tenants in Etwall and Egginton; manor and advowson of New Solney; Rock House in Newton Solney, lands in Newton Solney and Repton
