Administrative History
The Parochial School at Morton was established in 1863 on land given by Edward Degge Sitwell and was rebuilt c1884-5. The Sitwell conveyance of 1860 and the School Managers' minutes 1898-1903 are in the Morton parish records collection held in Derbyshire Record Office (D886).
