| Description | These ledgers record rents received from tenants on a weekly basis and were used to compile the income for accounting to landlord clients. A basic page order was used for many years:

Later years show increases due to legislation: 1957, 1965 Rent Acts.
Rents may be exclusive of council and water rates due to either individual agreement or the council not insisting on landlord responsibility. Many are, however, inclusive. |
